A freelance graphic artist is a designing professional who does not belong to an organization like a designing firm and plies his or her trade totally independent and without any sort of affiliation to any design firm or company. In short, a freelance graphic artist is his or her own master. A freelance graphic artist may sometimes prefer to work part time with a designing firm on a contractual basis. Designing is a creative medium and one does not actually have to belong to a company to thrive in his or her designing profession.
